7 Tips On Success and Health

Here are 7 tips on success & health which if applied to your life everyday, you’ll see an amazing improvement in your health, attitude and life as a whole.

Tip No. 1 – Eat Less Meat

Meat is very high in uric acid. Research has shown that uric acid weakens your bones and attacks tendons and joints causing arthritis. Meat is difficult to digest and could contribute to tiredness and lethargic feelings you may experience after a nights sleep.

Tip No. 2 – Exercise Daily

Everybody needs to have a daily exercise schedule, it’s the perfect pick-me-up. There are form basic forms of exercise.
Isometric… This is where your muscles are contracted against an immovable resistance for a period of time and then relaxed.
Isotonic… Weight lifting and calisthenics are two forms of isotonic exercise. This form, as with Isometric exercise does not use enough oxygen to be of benefit to your overall benefit.
Anaerobic… Sports such as sprinting and short distance swimming are anaerobic activities. Although large amounts of oxygen are used, the effort is not maintained long enough for it to be considered a good workout.
Aerobic… Literally means “with oxygen”. The focus here is endurance rather than speed or strength. To get the most from your workout, you need to be working at your maximum heart rate. 220 – your age = Maximum heart rate.
Being fit will give you the edge in your business.

Tip No. 3 – Drink More Water

Your body is made up of 70% water. A lack of water (dehydration) can lead to headaches, fatigue, poor concentration and a host of other problems. Your aim should be to drink 8 – 12 glasses of water a day.

Tip No. 4 – Drink Less Coffee & Alcohol

Every sip of alcohol you take is killing thousands of brain cells. One heavy drinking binge can kill off as many as 100,000 that cannot be replaced. Caffeine is a poison that is capable of putting a huge strain on your heart. By simply replacing your caffeine rich drinks with water, you’ll notice a remarkable improvement in your health in just a few short days.

Tip No. 5 – Eat Breakfast

As the name suggests, breakfast is the meal we eat to break the fast that our body endures during sleep. The meal should ideally only consist of fruit and fruit juices.

Tip No. 6 – Practice Power Breathing

Have you ever caught yourself yawning towards the end of the day? The chances are you’re not getting enough oxygen. Using the power breathing 3 times a day every day, can increase your lung capacity and clean out your lymph system. To use the power breathing system simply take 10 breaths, 3 times a day as follows:

  • Inhale for the count of 1
  • Hold for the count of 4
  • Exhale for the count of 2

Tip No. 7 – Have a Regular Massage.

Our muscles and joints can become stiff from being in one position for an extended period of time. To help your body cope, see a masseur or physio on a regular basis. By applying these ideas to your every day life, you’ll begin to perform in ways you never thought possible.
