The company’s co-owners, Ben Murray & Betty Dargie, are versatile, award winning producers with over 30 years industry experience between them. They are known for their wide range of style expertise and theatricality. Dargie Entertainment productions are slick, sophisticated, highly entertaining shows with glamourous and talented casts, breathtaking costumes and high quality production techniques.
Betty Dargie is third generation showbiz. Firstly with her grandfather, the renowned Horrie Dargie (Horrie Dargie Quintet, Australia’s first Gold record earner), her grandmother Betty (Tivoli Ballet star), their daughters Anne and Lynne Dargie (Australia’s most loved sister act ‘The Dargie Sisters’) and now the third generation continues the dynasty.
Betty is a MO Award winning international entertainer. She is a highly-sought after singer, dancer, model, choreographer, producer and character impersonator.
Ben Murray’s career has taken him all over the globe including Broadway, Las Vegas and London’s West End. He is one of Australia’s most sought after and versatile male dancer/choreographers, best known for his unique commercial jazz choreography and ballroom dance expertise. Ben is probably best known for his 13 year stint as ‘Benny’ from THE WIGGLES, where he was also choreographer and dance captain.
Dargie Entertainment is made up of Australia’s top professional dance artists, models, vocalists and circus acts. This group of elite artists are glamourous, highly trained, experienced world-class professionals. They have enjoyed extensive international careers and are now exclusive to Dargie Entertainment. We assure you that these performers are the most versatile and highest quality that Australia has to offer.
